Isidro "Lolo" Madril, a beloved and proud member of Magdelana, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on the 4th of April. Born to Candlaria Garcia and Fileberto Madril, Isidro enriched the lives of those around him with his unwavering love and cherished memories.
Throughout his life, Isidro found joy in the simple pleasures, treasuring moments spent with his family and friends above all else. Lolo was very proud of his hometown and the people in it, and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it.
He lovingly devoted his time to caring for his family for many years. His devotion to his loved ones was unmatched, and his kindness and generosity touched the hearts of all who knew him. An active member of his church, Isidro found solace and strength in his faith. His spirituality guided him through life's challenges, and he found comfort in the fellowship of his congregation and devoted many years to his church.
Isidro had a passion for the great outdoors, finding peace in the tranquility of nature. Hunting and fishing were not just hobbies for him but a passion for him through which he created many memories and great stories with his family and friends.
Isidro is preceded in death by his parents, Candlaria Garcia and Fileberto Madril, as well as his sisters, Patsy Herrera, and Cathy Madril.
He is survived by his loving nephew, Carlos Madril, and his wife, Cherokee Madril, along with their children, Lucas Madril and Elise Madril. Additionally, he leaves behind his loving niece, Margie Caldera and her husband, Angel. His Great nephews and niece: Joseph, Mario Steven, and Anjelica Barraza. His great-great-nephews and niece, Jonathan, Cilus, Zephaniah, and Catalina.
Lolo's loving family will carry his legacy forward with fondness and admiration. Isidro's presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know him. In honoring his memory, may we find solace in the love and joy he shared with us all.
Services for Lolo will take place on Thursday, April 18, at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Magdalena. A visitation will take place at 9:00 am followed by a rosary at 9:30 am. A mass will then be recited at 10:00 am. Lolo will then be laid to rest at the Magdalena Community Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
Pallbearers are Joseph, Steven, and Mario Barraza, Andy Garcia, Anthony Chavez, and Mike Lopez.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Martinez, Tommy Gomez, Joe Paiz, and Richard Torres.
