Valdez Ismael "Mayo" passed away peacefully at Hospice Austin’s Christopher House on 11/23/2024 @ 2:23pm went to be with the Lord at the age of 71 years in 2024 year. Born in Gomez Palacio, Durango Mexico on October 08 , 1953.
He is preceded by Asuncion Rodriguez de Valdez mother and Julio Valdez father. Ismael is lovingly remembered by Guadalupe, Juan Luis, Julio, Yamali , Jesus Juan Carlos Reyna Yolanda, Ezequiel, Alma, Selvin; grandchildren: Azalia - Vianey, Enrique, Juan Manuel, Ruben, Lizzete Alexandra, Aileene - Gisselle, Dulece-Daniella, Adrian-Armando in Austin, Texas and Piedras Negras, Coahuila Mexico. Followed by best friends and co workers Jeff Passell , Lisa Passell, Ricardo, Guillermo, Hector, Luis, Emilio, Pascual, Manuel, and all JP Concrete and Strong Tower Concrete friends that worked with him throughout his journey .
Mayo had a very strong work ethic, he really liked doing concrete work, especially setting forms. Heloved taking young men under his wing and teaching them what he knew. I really liked talking with him each morning. After he checked on me, I would ask him, "how are you Señor Mayo," he would always say, "Oh I'm happy happy always happy no matter what."
Mayo was a good friend to us, and will be deeply missed by all of us in the concrete world.

Visitation will be held at All Faiths Funeral Home at 8507 N Interstate 35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78753 on Saturday Dicember 7th , 2024 at 10:00 am to 1 pm
Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery at 3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704 at 1pm .

Valdez Ismael "Mayo" falleció pacíficamente en Christopher House de Hospice Austin el 23/11/2024 a las 2:23 pm y fue a estar con el Señor a la edad de 71 años en el año 2024. Nacido en Gomez Palacio, Durango Mexico el 8 de octubre de 1953. Precedido por Asuncion Rodriguez de Valdez madre y Julio Valdez padre. Amado recordado por Guadalupe, Juan Luis, Julio, Yamali, Jesus Juan Carlos, Reyna Yolanda, Ezequiel, Alma, Selvin Nietos :Azalia-Vianey, Enrique, Juan Manuel, Rubén, Lizzete Alexandra, Aileene- Gisselle, Dulece -Daniella, Adrian -Armando en Austin, Texas y Piedras Negras, Coahuila México. Seguido por sus mejores amigos y compañeros de trabajo Jeff Passell, Lisa Passell, Ricardo, Guillermo, Héctor, Luis, Emilio, Pascual, Manuel y todos los amigos de JP Concrete y Strong Tower Concrete que trabajaron con él durante su viaje.
Mayo tenía una relación muy fuerte Ética de trabajo, le gustaba mucho trabajar con hormigón, especialmente colocar encofrados. A Mayo le encantaba tomar a jóvenes bajo su protección y enseñarles lo que sabía. Me gustaba mucho hablar con él todas las mañanas. Después de que me revisaba, le preguntaba: " ¿Cómo está, señor Mayo? Siempre decía: "Oh, estoy feliz, feliz, siempre feliz, pase lo que pase". Mayo fue un buen amigo para nosotros y todos los que estamos en el mundo del cemento lo extrañaremos profundamente. Agradecimientos especiales al "Hombre de Arriba", como le diría a Jeff y Lisa Passell y todos los que contribuyeron a este momento, gracias a JP, Strong Tower, Lauren Concrete y todos los compañeros de trabajo y empresas con las que trabajó mi padre a lo largo de su vida.Gracias a All Faiths y al Cementerio de la Asunción. Las VISITAS se llevarán a cabo en la funeraria All Faiths Funeral Home en 8507 N Interstate 35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78753 el sábado 7 de diciembre de 2024 de 10:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m. El interludio se llevará a cabo en el Cementerio de la Asunción a las 3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704 a la 1:00 p. m.
