I will always remember my Aunt Ivy as the sweetest lady I ever knew. She was a saint long before she got to Heaven. My Dad, Charles Hood loved her too, and tried to keep in touch with her all of his life. Ivie was like a big sister to my Dad, and every time we went down to Georgia to visit, when I was a kid, he'd take us to see Aunt Ivie and Uncle Horace (uncle Horse) before anyone else. Oh the memories, I wish there were more of them,but the ones I have are priceless. Aunt Ivie loved EVERYONE. Surely she was an angel sent from heaven to help us feel the love of God. Love and peace to your family. Mike, Ray and Mary, and everyone of Aunt Ivie's precious grandbabies and great grandbabies. God bless, and I'm so sorry for your loss.

Ivie sewed for me, and we got a little dog from her and Horace. They were both wonderful people, and I am sure you find comfort that they are together. My prayers for you all as you go about learning to live without her to brighten your day. She was lovely in all ways. Billie Young

Family of Ms. Ivie. My heart is saddened by the loss of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister and aunt. She was always such a pleasure to talk to and always lifted you up with her sweet smiles. I always enjoyed being with her in the "Bingo" games at the Nursing Home and visiting in the lobby with her and sister Louise.
