Aunt Iva Jean Powell was such a loving person. She was loved in return by all those who knew her. Her laugh was so contagious. I love her so much even now.

My first memory of Aunt Iva was her telling me to "walk to me" and I did....her laugh was so musical. She was love on earth...and she loved us all. She loved me so much, she named her daughter, Debbie after me. She told me that often when I was growing up. She was a strong woman. She and my mother were cousins. She married my father's uncle, Randy Powell. So her children were my "double cousins". She, Randy, and their children would visit us during the summer and on holidays. My grandmother was Uncle Randy's sister. We had so much fun on those vacations. We were always playing and always laughing. I have always felt loved and safe with Aunt Iva. She was a joy.

I loved Aunt Iva. She had the most wonderful smile and laugh. She could make you feel good on a cloudy day. I am sorry to hear of her passing to the other side of Life,
