IVA PULLEN Obituary

Iva was born on November 14, 1946, in West Paducah, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Earl Rouse, Sr., and the late Earline Young Rouse. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and was employed for many years at Western Baptist Hospital in housekeeping.
Iva was a faithful member and servant at White Oak Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah. Her ministries at White Oak included being a lead singer in the choir, serving on the culinary committee, cleaning the church as part of the custodial staff, and being recognized as a respected Mother at White Oak. Her enthusiasm and love for the Lord were an inspiration to all.
When Iva wasn't serving at church, she managed to find time for self-care. One of the things she enjoyed most was doing yard work and gardening. She liked singing around the house, and she loved fast cars. She also had a love for jewelry and fashion. Iva especially enjoyed participating with the Heavenly Seniors at Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries.
Preceding Iva in death were her spouse, Marshall Pullen; one son, Brian Rouse; her parents; and four siblings, Jeannette Houston, Earlie C. Stone, Louis Rouse, and William Earl Rouse, Jr.
Left to treasure sweet memories of Iva are Her Daughter, Michelle Pullen of Louisville, Kentucky; a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins; and Special Friend of 50+ years, Elizabeth Banks of Lone Oak, Kentucky.
Iva will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Eric McKinney officiating.
Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

I was never able to meet Ms. Iva, but I´ve had the privilege of knowing her incredible daughter, Michelle, for many years. Iva must have been truly wonderful to have raised such a lovely human being. I´m sure she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of crossing her path. Blessings to you all. May you find peace in knowing how deeply she touched others and the difference she made in this world. Sending love and strength to you during this difficult time.
