Music filled his days, as he enjoyed singing, bringing joy to family gatherings and social events.
Family was the cornerstone of Ivan's life, and he considered his proudest accomplishments to be centered around them. His legacy of love, protection, and joy will live on in the hearts of those he cherished.
The life celebration for Ivan Edward Smith will begin with a viewing on May 1, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas, Texas. Following this, a funeral service will be held at the Community Missionary Baptist Church, 115 W Belt Line Rd in DeSoto, Texas, on May 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
Ivan leaves behind countless memories and a legacy that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. His vibrant spirit and love for life will be dearly missed.
