Ivery Clinton Bowens Sr.

With heartfelt sympathy and compassion, Craig R. Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc., Pembroke Chapel, along with the family, announces the passing of Mr. Ivery Clinton Bowens Sr.
Mr. Ivery Clinton Bowens, Sr., age 74, of Groveland, Georgia, passed peacefully with his family at his bedside in Ellabell, Georgia, under the care of Hospice Savannah. He was a Bryan County native, born and raised in Blitchton, Georgia. He was a member of Miles Branch Baptist Church of Blitchton, Georgia. He retired as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator with Shearouse Lumber Company of Pooler, Georgia. He enjoyed spending time with his family and doing mechanic work on cars.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Bowers of Groveland, Georgia; children, Fredrick (Jessica) Jackson and Ivery Jackson, both of Pembroke, Georgia, and Iretha Bowens of Ellabell, Georgia; sister, Emma Lou Jenkins of Pembroke, Georgia; ten grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home Pembroke Chapel, 66 Ledford Street, Pembroke, GA 31321.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 1p.m. at the Boyd's Temple New Order Church, 236 Mill Creek Church Road, Ellabell, GA 31308
