Ivey Whaley Obituary

February 1st, 1950 - August 30th, 2025
Ivey passed away peacefully at Wallace Health and Rehab Center.
He was a member of Potters Hill Advent Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Minnie Jones Whaley, son Jason Thomas Whaley (Kris), and sister Elizabeth Whaley Pearl. He is also survived by his three very special grandsons:
Gavin Michael Brinkley
Gabriel Paul Price
Barrett Thomas Whaley
and numerous special nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ivey (Tom) Thomas Whaley, mother Rosa Thigpen Whaley, daughter Shannon Whaley Knowles, sister Minnie Pearl Price, and special sister Susan Jarman Crawford.
A memorial service will be held at a date and location to be determined.
The family appreciates the care and comfort he received from ECU Home Health and Hospice and from all those that have aided and supported him in his last years of life.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests memorial donations to be sent to Potters Hill Advent Church - 984 Church Rd Pink Hill, NC 28572.
