The visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Saint Peter Catholic Church beginning at 11:00 A.M. until 12:45 P.M. with reading of the obituary at 12:00 P.M.
Miss Ivory Cormier was a resident of New Iberia, LA. She transitioned on Thursday, January 21, 2026, at her surrounded by his
A person of strong faith, Ivory was a member of Saint Peter Catholic Church.
To cherish her memory, she leaves in God's care four sons: Rick Cormier of Palm Dale, CA, Rodney Cormier of Spokane, WA, Manuel Cormier of Los Angeles, CA and Jonathan Cormier of Compton, CA; one daughter, Denise Cormier of Apple Valley, CA; one brother, Albert Cormier of Lafayette, LA; one sister, Florence Cormier of New Iberia, LA; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friend.
She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Cormier; her mother, Theresa Cormier; two granddaughters, Ronnise Cormier Betts and Heaven Marie Cormier; two brothers, Willis Jones, Jr. and Edward Cormier; two sisters, Emelda Cormier and Elizabeth Cormier; stepfather, Willis Jones, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Herman and Zoeway Jones; maternal grandparents, Robert and Emelda Cormier; and one great-grandchild, Isabella Cormier.
Serving as Active pallbearers are Deron Betts, Derean Betts, Deverien Betts, Stephon Jones, Donovan Cormier, and Quinton Cormier.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Jonathan Cormier, Rick Cormier, Manuel Cormier, Rodney Cormier, Albert Cormier, and Steven Jones.
