Ivy Rose (Austin) Brown, 66, of Hitchcock, Texas passed away on April 23, 2025, at HCA in Texas City, Texas.
Her homegoing service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Austin Temple Church of God in Christ 6713 Backstrom Street, Hitchcock, Texas. Burial will follow at Babours Memorial Cemetery on Jackson Rd in Hitchcock, Tx. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Austin Temple Church of God in Christ in Hitchcock, Texas.
Ivy Rose Brown was born on February 9, 1959. She was First Lady of Austin Temple Church of God in Christ. She was a matriarch of the Austin family.
She is preceded in death by father, Richard Austin Sr., mother, Maggie Lee Austin (Simmons), Richard Austin Jr., David Austin, Evelyn Austin (Preston), Anthony Austin, Linda Austin (Lewis), and Albert Austin.
Survivors include husband, Booker Brown Jr. two sons, one daughter, two daughters-in-law, 3 grandchildren, a great host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church members, and friends.
Pallbearers are Eric Scott, John Nelson, Jr., Harold Davis, George Harris, Jamarcus Carter, Jaylyn Griffin and Honorary Pallbearer, and Willard Thompson.
