Tom and I extend our sincere sympathies to John and Chuck and their families at the loss of their dad and grandad. Barbara was my cousin, and it was with great excitement that we welcomed Alex into our family many years ago. My children, Al and Tammy, Will and Sandy, and Juli and Justin, all knew "Dr. Hash" while at Clemson, and recalled (at hearing of his passing) the many times they heard him say, "Now Troop ..." Alex was a kind soul and contributed much to his work at Clemson, his community, and his church during his time on earth. Blessings on all his family. With love. Nancy Harmon

So Sorry to hear about Dr Hash. He was my advisor while I was a student at Clemson. He truly cared about me and was instrumental in preparing me for my Ag Teaching career. I am forever indebted to his guidance that prepared me for my career in education.
