J Pinkerton Obituary
J was born September 30, 1946, in Deerfield Township in Ross County, Ohio to Howard and Mary Poole Pinkerton. He was a 1964 graduate of Miami Trace High School and lived his early life in New Holland. He had lived many years in Florida before returning to this community 15 years ago.
Before his retirement he was a barber. He also worked in construction and painting.
He was preceded in death his parents and a sister, Jean Dyke.
J is survived by a daughter, Shay Pinkerton of Washington Court House; a grandson, Gage Pinkerton-Stuckey and five nieces and nephews, Mark (Kristin) Yarger, Wayne Yarger, Cheryl Thompson, Tracey Hudson and John Dyke.
Cremation was observed.
Two celebrations will take place. The first will be for non-drinkers, at Shea's house on Saturday, October 4 at 3 PM. The second will be at Smitty's in New Holland on Friday, October 10, 2025.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in New Holland.
