J. V. Whitlock and Jarett Whitlock

Had the pleasure of dealing with J V so many times here at Mecklenburg Electric. He was always so nice and was a pleasure to talk to. We talked motorcycles when he came to pick up our scrape. My condolences to Mrs Matrha and the family. Will surely miss him.

A Toccoa icon lost. I remember moving to Toccoa decades ago & being at Sheriff's Best Buy in the middle of downtown seeing 2 big feet sticking out of the driver's window from the old black caddy limo while Martha shopped inside. A car we all have seen years going back on our streets. Why may never be answered for that time and space on that tragic day that claimed and claims too much. No words can express...never stop the memories of J.V. and his grandson.

My heart goes out to the family. I remember when I was younger. I worked at the old waffle house in Laconia. Martha and JV and there friends came in all the time. I love waiting on them. JV.and I had a 63 year friendship,along with the whitlock Family, as teenager's , William , billy lawson, Tommy flower, and more, so many great times.
Jv was welcome at the summers house forever.
