Moment by Moment
By J.W. Morgan
Moment by moment
The days are fleeting
Death comes suddenly
Without proper greeting
I have lost many
One moment they’re gone
All that is left
Are the memories drawn
So I live each day
As if it were my last
For my days are numbered
The die is cast
What I feel
Is not despair
But the breath of life
With my morning prayer
I live and love
One day at a time
Enjoy each moment
Now that I’m past my prime
And when heaven I reach
I’ll worship in song
My Lord and my God
All eternity long
So live each moment
Day by day
Accept God’s grace
Like a beautiful bouquet
