It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jace Bradley Higareda, who was born on December 20, 2003, in Lafayette, Indiana. Jace tragically passed away on November 26, 2025, due to his injuries from an automobile accident in Winamac, Indiana.
Jace was the beloved son of Alisa Balser and Daniel Higareda (Vilma). He was the beloved grandson of Rusty and Cathy Farrell as well as grandson to Socorro Esquivel Higareda and Santiago Higareda. Jace was the great-grandson to Edith Neff, Carolyn and Bob Simons, and Pam and John Farrell.
He leaves behind his beloved fiancée, Natosha Marie and their 3 children, Adeline, Roxstynn and Stepson Huxlee; his 14 siblings, Jasmin Higareda (Josiah Greer), Jennaliegh Hann, Jaylie Balser, Albby Manfre, Shantie Higareda, Cory James, Kevin Higareda-Diaz, Elizabeth Higareda-Diaz, Adrian Higareda-Centeno, Emely Higareda-Centeno, Eveling Valdivia-Centeno, Lillie Higareda, Angel Higareda-Diaz, and Joseph Farrell. He was a wonderful uncle to Rory, Harmony, Sofia, Manman, Kobe, London, Lennox and 2 more unborn on-the-way. Jace was the best dude to Jasper, Jensen, Silas, as well as the best Wubby to Braxten and Koah. He was the best cousin to many and the best nephew to David, Randy, Jeff Farrell and Bobby Simons. And Jace was the best brother-n-law to Brannon and Steven Ward, and Xavier Landreth as well as the best son-in-law to Gidget and Mike Hatfield.
Jace loved dirt track racing and any fast car, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Cubs, and tinkering with anything that had an engine.
He was a dedicated worker at the Union local #274 and took great pride in his work.
Jace will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his passion for his hobbies and his hard work.
He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Rest in peace Jace Bradley Higareda LONG LIVE JACE BRADLEY
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Fisher Funeral Chapel, Lafayette.
A funeral service celebrating Jace's life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025, in the funeral chapel with Pastor Tom Camp officiating. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed by clicking on the link below.
Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
