Jack Lee Aldinger

Jack Lee Aldinger passed away on January 30, 2026. He was born on September 17, 1946, in Iowa, to the late Charles and Pearl Aldinger. Jack was a proud Vietnam veteran and remained actively involved with the VFW Canal Winchester branch until his passing. He worked for the John Deere Company for many years.

A steady and quiet presence for his family, Jack was a kind and genuine man who never met a stranger. He loved talking with people and sharing stories, especially those passed down from his father. He had a lifelong love of movies and found joy in simple moments spent with family.

Jack had a passion for adventure and travel. He enjoyed camping in a trailer and spent countless hours exploring the country. As a devoted father, he took great pride in traveling with his children throughout the western United States, showing them the beauty of places such as Yellowstone, the Black Hills, the Badlands, and Jewel Cave. He also loved riding his motorcycle, putting nearly 90,000 miles on his beloved BMW. While living in Iowa, Jack especially enjoyed grilling burgers, brats, and sweet corn for his family. He also dearly loved his dog, Guinness.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Angelique (Robert) Malkentzos; his grandson, Nick Malkentzos; and his granddaughter, Annabelle Malkentzos.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Felice Anne Aldinger; his son, Chad Aldinger; his sister, Audrey Wright; and his brother, Karl Aldinger.

Family and friends may attend a visitation at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W. Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's name to Doctors Without Borders.
