Jack Albert Alspaugh Jr., went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2025, at the age of 82, in his lifelong hometown of Canton, Ohio. Born on June 15, 1943, Jack lived a life filled with love, laughter, and served as provider for his family.
He graduated from McKinley High School and went on to devote over 40 years to his career as a truck driver for Wilkof Morris, which later became Metals USA. Jack was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his profession, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Jack was a passionate outdoorsman and a life-time member of the Lone Eagle Archery Club, where he embraced his love for bow hunting and shared many cherished moments with fellow enthusiasts. His adventurous spirit and lively storytelling brought joy to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Sr. and Betty Alspaugh; and sister, Nancy (Tom) Weber, along with his nephews, Jeff and Shane. Jack is remembered by his beloved daughter, Christine Alspaugh; brothers, Bill (Patty) Alspaugh and Mike (Linda) Alspaugh; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, including John (Teri), Andy (Joanne), Tommy (Megan), Shawn (Kathy), Kimberly, Michael (Felicia), Nikki (Patrick), and his great niece, Stephanie.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and nurses at Canton Christian Home and Canton Regency for their compassionate care. A special acknowledgment is given to aide Jacob Patrick for his friendship and kindness during Jack's time there.
