Jack Bartberger Obituary
Jack Bartberger, age 74, passed away on June 28, 2021, with his wife Jan by his side. Jack was known by all for his smile, sense of humor, and infectious laugh. He was an avid cyclist during his 37+ years at Sandia Laboratories where he biked to and from work daily rain or shine. In fact, he loved anything with wheels including his motorcycles, the MG Midget he restored, and the camper van that he and Jan used routinely to escape to adventures near and far. He loved music of all kinds and played harmonica and sang back-up vocals in several local bands. Animals were also a big part of Jack's life and heart. He is survived by his wife Jan; his daughters, Tricia, Lisa and Jodi; grandchildren, Tyler and Megan; sister, Janet; nephew, Scott; and niece, Sue. A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming with a reception to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to your local animal rescue organization. I'm so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I knew Jack from Sandia Labs. I would see him walking around playing his harmonica. I did ride bikes with him a few times. I used to see him at Faith Lutheran and enjoyed talking to him. Jack would tell the best jokes. His joke about Cinderella is still my favorite one. I'm going to miss him.

I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I knew Jack during my employment at Sandia Labs many years ago. I will always remember his beautiful smile. Jan, my sincere condolences to you and the family.

Sister of Steve Haydu who played in a band called the "The White Walls " along with Jack. They all Made harmony together. He will be deeply missed.
