Mr. Jack Edward Boykin was the oldest of nine children. He was born in Vinegar Bend Al to the union of the late John C. Moore and Hattie Moore. He proceeded in death with his wife Dorothy Boykin, two sisters Annette Williams, Gwendolyn Manning and a brother John Martin. One of his favorite quotes was "My Mama said you're not going until God say so". He attended school at Booker T Washington in Vinegar Bend Alabama. He was a Deacon at his church, New St. John Christian Center of Vinegar Bend Alabama. He was committed to his church, his family and a pillar in his community. He retired from Champion Saw Mill in Citronelle Alabama. He leaves to cherish his devoted mother Hattie Moore of Hempstead NY and fifteen children's: George Lucious of Detroit Michigan, Alinda (Jessie) Womack of Prichard Al, Clarence Lucious Sr. of Vinegar Bend Al, Louise (Darryl) Williams of Vinegar Bend Al, William Lucious of Detroit Michigan, Emma (Greg) Bohannon of Vinegar Bend Al, Pamela( Robert) Masson of Detroit Michigan, Yvette( Eddie) Mitchell of Orlando FL, Lisa Franks of Mobile Al, Sonya(Neal) Dennis of Citronelle Al, Denise( Greg) Walker of Chickasaw Al, Bernard

(Laronda) Lucious of Snellville Georgia, Andrea (Bruce) Jordan of Vinegar Bend Al, Lamia White of Vinegar Bend, and Fesha Smith of Mobile Al. He leaves to cherish four brothers, Harry (Betty) Boykin of Citronelle Al, Robert Moore of FL, Daniel Moore of Hempstead NY, Michael Robinson of Mobile Al, and two sisters Victoria (Larry) Moore Sr of Uniondale NY and Valerie (Thomas) King of Hempstead NY. He leaves to cherish Fifty- Grand Children's, Ninety-six Great Grands, and Fifty-two Great Great Grands. With a total of One Hundred and Ninety-eight grandchildren. He leaves to cherish a host of nieces and nephews, and a special friend Apostle Edward Martin. He was a very kind person. He will be remembered for his love for everyone, his kind smile, and his hospitality that he shown to many.
