Jack Carlton Van Dort Obituary

Jack graduated from Zeeland High School in 1959. On August 3, 1962, Jack married the love of his life, Jacquelyn (Wyngarden) Van Dort and spent 61 loving years together before his passing. Jack worked at Howards Hull Away and Miles Chem. He retired in 1997 after 33 years as a Chemical Operator.
Jack was a faithful member at Vriesland Reformed Church and Mason County Reformed Church. He loved spending his time outdoors and was extremely passionate about hunting and fishing.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Van Dort; son, Tim (Margie) Van Dort; grandsons, Adam (Taryn) Clark and their children Hudson, Hunter, and Alexia, Josh (Rachael) Jacoby and their children Charlie Jo, Eliza, and Olivia, Ryan (Paige) Van Dort and their children Carter and Ellery, and Jordan (Bri) Van Dort; and son-in-law, Steve Jacoby.
Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelli Jacoby, and grandson, Aaron Clark.
Memorial contributions in Jack's honor can be made to Spectrum Hospice.
A memorial service will be held Saturday October 7, 2023, at 2pm at Mason County Reformed Church. Visitation will begin at 1pm at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, www.oakgroveludington.com.
