Tom Caster

I worked with Jack in Engineering at Hough brothers Inc. from the mid 70s until I left in 1981. Then again at Specialty Industries from 2004 until he retired in 2014, I think it was. I retired a year later. I remember how competitive he was about his work, taking great pride in it and insisting he was right. He usually was! He had an encyclopedic memory and loved to share what he knew with anyone who would listen. Quite often a simple question would lead to a discussion on avionics or crop irrigation science!
He gave some real professional presentations at Planning Commision & Twp. Council Meetings while he was helping in the fight to preserve farmland from the Solar Factories as we called them. We had many good times working together and in clearing trees in his fencerows so he could plant more acres for crops. I'll always remember Jack and the love he had for his family, especially Tina. I will miss him.
His friend,
Tom Caster, Potterville
