Jack Cossey

Jack Cossey, age 64, of Pottsville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 05, 2017 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born to Garlin and Gussie Hull Cossey on February 4, 1953, in Russellville, Arkansas. He was a member of the Antioch Freewill Baptist Church and the National Rifle Association. He was a foreman at the highway department for 34 years before retiring. Jack was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Cossey. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cossey of Pottsville; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Melissa Cossey of Dardanelle; three daughters, Keri Cossey of Fayetteville, Brandy Smith of Union City, Tennessee, and Lexie Smith of Hot Springs; his mother, Gussie Cossey of Russellville; a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Jason Prince of Russellville; six grandchildren, Vanessa Bradley, Rijks Findley, Jacob Cossey, Tanner Roland, Caleb Blaylock, and Kaylee Cossey; two brothers-in-law, Charles Phillpot and his wife, Pam of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Henry Branch and his wife, Evelyn of Dallas, Texas; and his beloved dog, Simon. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hector with the Rev.
