Jack Dinkel

We both attended WMU starting as freshman in 1967 and graduating in 1971. He was great friend, roommate and always had a wonderful personality. I still remember scaping the ice off the inside windows of his VW beetle in the winter. Having to walk through his bedroom to use the washroom in the rundown house at 945 Austin the 5 of us rented during our junior and senior years. Trying to chew the heavily marinated venison from one of his hunting season outings. Going to the Indy 500 with his high school buddies, which included each of us buying a bucket full of KFC chicken and a case of beer for meals during the entire weekend.
