Jack W. Eastwood, 68, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Friday, January 16, 2026, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.
Jack W. Eastwood was born May 27, 1957, in Fort Dodge, the son of Jack D. and Barbara A. (Casey) Eastwood. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1975. Over the years, he worked for the ASPCA, Schlumberger Oil Company both while living in Houston, TX, and several years and many roles within Walmart, retiring in 2022 as Auto Care Manager. Jack enjoyed nature. He could often be found sitting outside with his canine companion. He loved kayaking and enjoyed many adventures with his best friend, Cellie.
Jack is survived by his son: Myles (Darrbie) of Webster City; closest friend: Cellie Easter (Sally Wheeler) of Somers, beloved companion: Bella, father: Jack D. of Dayton, grandchildren: Houston (Emilie) of Marshalltown, Mariah (Brady) of Webster City, Brayden of Colo, Lincoln & Nolan of Webster City, great grandchildren: Scarlett; siblings: Becky Wood of Walnut, Cindy Dencklau of Waterloo, and DeAnn Eastwood of Sachse, TX . He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, sister: Pam and a number of four legged companions that he loved over the years.
