Jack Gassaway Obituary

Published by Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home - Le Roy on Mar. 20, 2017.

Jack was born on January 4, 1930 and passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Jack was a resident of LeRoy, Illinois at the time of his passing. Jack served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He was married to Marie Miller. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the LeRoy Christian Church, LeRoy. Jeff Mayfield will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy. There will be no visitation. Military Rites will be accorded. Memorial contributions may be made to the LeRoy Christian Church, the Ruel Neal American Legion Post #79, LeRoy or the LeRoy Fire Department.

You all have my simpathy on the passing of Jack. I can't put into words the great memories I have of Jack and you guys. Jack taught me so much in the trade in which I am greatful. We all had many great years together. Miss all of you and wish you the best. I'm sure he will leave a huge void I need your family. My prayers are with your family.
