Austinville - Jack Kipple, 92, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born on March 15, 1931, in Los Angeles County, CA to the late Jack Knipple and Dorothy Samarin Knipple. Jack was a devout member of the Kernersville Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was a great person and hard worker, who consistently had an idea or project in the works. Jack would always be the first to help someone in need. He was successful in all his endeavors, from owning a drywall business to owning rental utility buildings. Jack enjoyed playing the accordion in his family’s singing group. Out of all his accomplishments, his family was the most important to him, especially his grandchildren who meant everything to him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Bonnie Banks Kipple and one son, Eddie Kipple.
Left to cherish his memory are his three sons, Jack Stephen “Steve” Kipple of Wallburg, James Kipple (Robin) of Pinnacle, and David Kipple of Hillsville, VA; five grandchildren, Olivia, Eddie, Donnie, Samarin, and Vann; and one brother, Richard Knipple of Asheville.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Kernersville Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Ralph Henderson officiating. A private family graveside will be held at the Puckett Family Cemetery in Stuart, VA. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
