Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Klugman, of blessed memory, his genuine humanity and love of life and his fellow man shone through every role he played, every interview he gave, and his cheerful personality in general. This is especially remarkable in the face of the challenges posed to his ability to speak in the later years of his long and illustrious life. His smiling face, witty humor, and genuine warmth will always be a part of me. God bless you, Jack Klugman, and may the Almighty bring comfort to the family, friends, and many fans he loved so much.

I first starting watching Quincy in Junior High School and fell in love with Jack and medicine and science. Because of Quincy I ended up getting a Masters degree in Microbiology a subject I really love. After Quincy I started watching the Odd Couple and it became one of my favorite shows. I traveled to New York to see Three Men on a Horse and The Sunshine Boys and they were both great. I saw Jack and Tony in The Odd Couple on stage in Phoenix, AZ. Most recently one of the best times I had was at a book signing and met Jack. It was so great to get the autograph in person and I cherish that along with a personalized photo that Jack sent me back when he was on Quincy. I watched Jaklin Klugman in the horse races and was excited to see how great that horse was. I wish I was a better writer and could express the influence he had on my life. I will love him always.

I met your dad years ago while working at Keystone Race Track, when he had his throat cancer, and could barely talk. Didn't know it was him, until my co-worker pointed it out after I sold him a program! He made me go up 2 him, n i did, to tell him how much he was admired in Quincy, but it was the Odd Couple that i loved him the most for, n so on my break, sat down right next to him in one of those old plastic seats, n asked 4 his autograph! He gave it 2 me w/ no hesistation, although i expect his real mind was on the horses, because that's what horse lovers do do!!! I worried about your dad for a great many of years, 4 i m a virgo n that's what we do, worry abt all those that we love..., i wanted him cured from the get go n not see him like that, in that heartbreak of cancer!!! N, so if u must know anything at all, u had a wonderful father that remains in my heart! I can never 4-get him, he's down 2 earth people. So sorry 4 your loss, but may u know how much you have been blessed!

Jack you were a huge part of my childhood with Quincy M.E. Your acting skills and all round 'Man's man' approach really hit home with me. I then discovered 'The Odd Couple' and actually had the pleasure to see you on stage at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket London. England in 1996 with Tony Randall. It was an amazing production and you gave a sterling performance! Thank you for the memories Jack!
