Jack Lacey Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dykstra Funeral Homes Downtown Holland Chapel on Jan. 12, 2026.
Jack Lacey, age 83, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Linda Lacey; his son, Alan Lacey; his daughter-in-law, Kelly Lacey; and his beloved grandson, Ian Lacey. He is also survived by his brother, Steve Lacey, and sister-in-law, Joyce Lacey.

He was preceded in death by his brother Jim Lacey, sister Suzanne Lacey, mother Donna Lacey, and father James Lacey.

Jack had a lifelong passion for computers and technology, long before it was commonplace. He assisted countless friends and family by sharing his knowledge over the years.

Jack was born in Muskegon, and his family moved Kendallville, Indiana, then to Sebring, Florida, and from there, found his home in Holland, where he was a long time resident, and a life member of the Elks Club.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, January 24 from 1-4pm with a time of remembrances at 1:30pm at the Holland Elks Lodge, 569 E 24th Street in Holland.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in Jack's memory to the Holland Library, where he spent many hours.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
