I normally dont follow up with anniversary remarks on legacy, because while Dad is no longer walking this earth, I believe I will see him again when were worshipping the Lord...sadness points to joy. My memories of eating sardines with Dad; us liking grape jam/jelly; chocolate; pineapple sandwiches and more; what fun tangibles. I cherish the talks we had; the special time we spent with him when Mom had the aneurysm; taking him and Mom to the dirt race track in Altus during one of their visits; his enthusiasm during Thanksgivings and cutting down our Christmas tree; his handwritten notes to us; using his personal key rings he gave us; Dads profound support for the military and love toward Dale and his grandkids. So many memories and pictures; most important is that I believe we are united in the Lord.

To a very special friend, classmate, teammate and a truly good and decent man. I will miss you. There was just too much between us to talk about here, so have a good trip. I know you are welcome and much blessed where you are now. Tell the angles a good joke and slap your leg once for me. All my love. Art

Numerous memories come to mind when I think of grandpa--the visits, the activities, the laughter.... Such memories and our conversations will always be close to my heart. I can still see grandpa, roughly twelve years ago, sitting in the stands at one of my gymnastics competitions. And the times when we were sitting in the back of our van thumb wrestling and challenging each other by inflecting our voices. He was so generous. At the funeral, I learned more about the loving acts of service he did for people, and I greatly admire his humility in that he did not boast in what he did for others: "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be done in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you" (Matthew 6:3-4).

I love him and greatly miss him...but I'll see grandpa again one day.

Love,

Jeri,

I heard about Jack's passing today. Sorry for your loss. You are both such wonderful people and I will miss not seeing him come into the Credit Union. He would always take time to say Hi when he came in.

If there is anything we can do here at the Credit Union to help you just let me know.

Sincerely,

Melanie Lewis

Jack was a wonderful uncle. I've heard so many fond and endearing stories about him from Steve. I regret that neither Becky not I got to know him. Jerri, you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Jeri:

The funeral service was a real tribute to Jack. He had so many cousins, friends and close family to honor his life. He will be missed. As you stated to us, "He is walking those golden streets and singing praises." May our Heavenly Father give you strength and comfort to carry on in times of sadness. Our love and sympathy goes out to you.

So sorry to hear about Jack. I have never known anyone so generous.

I have many childhood memories.

Jack, Bill & Dick were like the brothers that I never had. He will
