Jack Harold Meeks, age 90, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on December 21, 2025. He was born on October 23, 1935, in Seminole, Oklahoma, to Newt and Odessa Meeks.
Jack was raised in Seminole and was a proud graduate of Seminole High School. In February of 1959, he married the love of his life, Marjorie Safley, and together they shared many wonderful years and raised two children.
Jack honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for 10 years. During his service, he was stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc, California, Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma, and later at Tinker Air Force Base, where he continued his career until his retirement. He was proud of his service and dedication to his work.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Meeks; his parents, Newt and Odessa Meeks; three sisters; one brother; and his son-in-law, Jerry Bowen.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Patti Bowen of Seminole, Oklahoma; his son, Mark Meeks, and wife Marcie Meeks of Seminole, Oklahoma; his grandson, Dalton Meeks, and wife Dedra Meeks of Seminole, Oklahoma; and his two great-granddaughters, Myla and Willo Meeks, whom he loved and adored deeply. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Baby.
Private services will be held by the family.
