Jack Nolan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sly Family Funeral Home on Jan. 19, 2026.
Jack Nolan, 95, of Chardon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Born on October 15, 1930, at home in Chardon, Ohio, Jack was the son of Peter and Mary Nolan. He proudly served in the United States Army and later worked alongside his siblings in the family plumbing business, PF Nolan Inc., founded by his parents in 1923. Jack took great pride in the company and the lasting impression it made on the Chardon community. He also took great pride in his family and, above all, his faith.

Jack was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be remembered for his humor, faith, wisdom, joyful heart, and unwavering willingness to help others. No matter the circumstance, Jack would lay anything down and go the extra mile for anyone in need. His patience, humility, and infectious laughter will always be sweetly remembered.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Carole Nolan; his brother, Scott Nolan; his children, Gilda Spencer (Kermit), Debbie Eubanks (Glen), Nancy Bruening, Michael Nolan (Laura), and Sarah Nolan; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven, Wesley, Celeste, Curtis, Trevor, T.J., Sadie, and Sierra; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary Nolan; his sisters, Nellie, Kathryn, and Patricia; his brother, Peter Nolan; his aunt, Marie; and his grandson, Adam Nolan.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 31 at 11:00 a.m. at North East Community Church, located at 13925 Stanley Drive, Burton, Ohio 44021.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North East Community Church in Jack's memory.
