Jack Lynn Porter

Jack Porter, 69, of Longville, MN Passed away peacefully on July 14, 2021. Jack was preceded in death by his parents William and Eleanor Porter and his sister Debbie Porter. Jack is survived by his Son, Chris Porter, and daughter Kelly (Chet) Fridlund; Grandchildren Carter Fridlund and Kayla Fridlund; Brother Gary (Sandy) Porter; Nieces and Nephew Billy Porter, Terri (Steve) Heimbigner, Lynda (Arlinnton) Flores, and Betsy Porter. Cousins Judy (Ray) Gravdal, Mike (Sharon) Thielke and Terry (Pam) Thielke and many friends who was like family to him.

Jack was born in West Virginia and at a young age moved to Bloomington, MN. He is a graduate of Lincoln High School. Jack continued to live in the cities working at Holiday Warehouse, in Bloomington for over 30 years. He was an avid bowler, softball player, hunter, and card player. Jack fulfilled his dream to live up north, in 2005 he moved to Longville, MN. He enjoyed good company and having a good time. He was loved by many and he will be missed.

Visitation 4pm-7pm Friday July 23rd at Washburn McReavy Bloomington Chapel, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Rd. Bloomington, MN 55431. Funeral Saturday July 24th 11am with visitation from 10am-11am at McReavy Bloomington Chapel. 12pm-1:30pm luncheon at the Chapel with burial to follow at 2:00pm at Bloomington Cemetery 10340 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55420. Celebration of Jack's life will follow at 2:30pm at AMF Southtown Lanes 7941 Southtown Ctr, Bloomington, MN 55431. Bring your ball and shoes, if not they will be provided for you, with refreshments provided.
