Jack Edmund Reyome

Jack Edmund Reyome, 79, of Brookshire, Texas, passed peacefully into God's loving care on November 26, 2025 following a brief but courageous battle with glioblastoma.

Born on October 19, 1946, in Griffith, Indiana, Jack was a proud graduate of Griffith High School, Class of 1964. He served his country honorably in the National Guard. In 1970, he married the love of his life, Patricia, and together they shared 55 years of marriage and raised three children.

Jack retired from SBC Datacom, part of Southwestern Bell Corporation (now AT&T), after a distinguished 38-year career in telecommunications. He served as the area manager for Northern Indiana. Following retirement, Jack continued his dedication to public service by becoming Griffith, Indiana's first Code Enforcement Officer.

A devoted community leader, Jack served in many capacities throughout his life, including: Delegate to the 1978 Democratic State Convention; member of the Chamber of Commerce; Rotary International; Saint Mary School Board of Directors; Saint Mary Catholic Church Parish Council; Saint Mary school bus coordinator; Little League Baseball Board of Directors; All-Star Coach; Coach of the Year; Babe Ruth Coach; and member of the American Legion.

Jack moved to Texas in 2022. He enjoyed golfing several times a week. He was a member of the Senior Men's Golf League at Cinco Ranch Golf Club.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his children, Jason (Holly) Reyome, Gavin Reyome, and Kimberly (Dustin) Bow; and his grandsons, Jackson Reyome, Nikolas Reyome, and Bronson Bow. He is also survived by his twin sister, Judy (Bob) Burks; sister-in-law, Anna Reyome; brother-in-law, Ron Mesarch; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen V. and Mary K. Reyome, and his brothers, James D. and Richard L. Reyome.

Jack was truly a man of virtue - devoted to his faith, his family, and his community.
