Mr. Jack Scott

Jack Scott, age 82 of Benton, Arkansas died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Baptist Health Medical Center. He was born in Aplin, Arkansas on January 31, 1930 to his late parents Robert Bert and Viola Padgett Scott. He was a building contractor for many years, loved his job and was a member of Highland Valley United Methodist Church. In addition, he enjoyed playing golf, traveling and going on cruises. He is survived by his wife Eutha Bishop Scott of Benton, AR; three children, Susan Jean Jackson (Eddie) of New Orleans, LA, Mike Scott (Debbie) of Benton, AR and Tim Scott of Bauxite, AR; three step-children, Doug Bishop (Carol), Ted Bishop (Becky) and Kathy Bishop; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Debbie Ann Crane, one sister Ara Scott Drum and two step-children, Rick Bishop and Julie Bishop. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, AR (501) 455-1067 with Reverend Wade Shownes officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 6:00pm – 8:00pm Friday, June 8, 2012 at the funeral home.
