Years ago, 1965 to be exact, my newly acquired, very used car was broken down in Selinsgrove, PA.
I told Jack of my quandary; without hesitation he offered to take his next day off work to drive to Selinsgrove to repair the clunker and thereby salvage my $30 purchase. That helping hand, offered without being asked, confirmed to me, and that many others already knew or would come to know, that Jack was a generous, talented man, and a great friend!
Jack, we will miss you!
