What a great time we had growing up on Weston Drive. Our buddies along the street, at the top of the hill, and on Circle, were a special group. I remember sledding down Mr. Norton's field through the open gate and across the gully. I remember either Harold or Bobby Smiddy getting a bloody mouth from such activity. My nephew now lives in the house at 5410. What great memories!
You have my sympathies on Mr. Smiddy's passing. I could not make the visitation or funeral, but know that my thoughts are with you.

Harold, Beth, and Tom: Our deepest sympathy to you in the sudden loss of your Dad. He was one of my most favorite cousins-in-law, and we enjoyed many fun times together in our younger years. I am sorry that Carolyn and I are unable to attend your father's funeral tonight.
