Jack Ray Stiner

JACK RAY STINER 2/19/1929 - 9/5/2016 Jack R Stiner 87, went to be with our Lord on 9/5/2016 and to dance with his wife Pat for eternity. He was born in Canton, OH to the late Ralph and Viole Mae (Cole) Stiner and spent his formative years between Sharps Chapel, TN ("down home") and Canton, OH. Jack was preceded in death by the love of his life, Patricia Ann (Jones) Stiner whom he married in 1951. Jack and Pat raised their five children in Canton, OH. Jack owned and operated Jack R Stiner Models & Patterns of N Canton, OH. He was active in the Sportsman Club, Lion's Club and the Church of the Lakes. Jack and Pat lived at Lake Cable in Canton, OH until he retired to Cape Coral in 1994. Jack was active in Club 84 and the Elks Lodge where he and Pat loved to dance. His five children were blessed to have such a wonderful father. He was an amazing athlete and an accomplished figure skater. Jack cherished his family and loved nothing better than to sit and listen to all the family activity. He had a welcoming smile and wink and a nod for everyone. Dad will be greatly missed by his 5 children; Sally Stiner of Santa Monica, CA, Shirley (John) Ellwood of Cape Coral, Sandy (Scott) Knisley of N Canton, OH, Scott Stiner of N Canton, OH and Susie (Dick) Shreve of Cape Coral. 5 Grandchildren; Kelly (Nick) Stewart, Jacob (Suzi) Knisley, Maxwell Knisley, Dan Shreve and Zachary Knisley. 3 Great Grandchildren; Aurora Shreve, Luka Knisley and Carter Stewart. Jack's siblings, Doris"Bek" Gordon (deceased), Wayne (Wanda) Stiner, Howard (Betty) Stiner, Tom (deceased) Marty Stiner, Carol (Al) Kirkbride.
