Jack Swamba

I pray that God will harness the positive energy in Jack towards helping the world become a better place

A great young man who lived life to its fullest and had an incredible future; will be missed by many :-(

A beautiful boy who touched so many. Hearts will forever be broken but blessed to know Jack. My sincere condolences. Keeping Jack´s family and friends in my heart and prayers.

I didn't know Jack personally, but I worked with his father for many years. Knowing his dad, I couldn't imagine Jack not being an incredible person with a dynamic future in front of him. My prayers and condolences for his family and all that knew and loved him.

Jack's mom, Tammy, prays with Johanna Nicolai and Linda Shepard as part of Moms in Prayer on Wednesdays. We pray our adult children through life and we especially pray for the ROTC members at MSU. In Spring 2023, Linda connected the dots. Her son, Eric, in Pathfinders had told her of this recruit who would not give up on the final challenge to join Pathfinders. Incredibly, this recruit, Jack, started over the long many miles hike and finished. Eric called him the recruit that would not give up. Eric really liked him. Then at our prayer meeting, Tammy said Jack had dehydration during the hike, but started over and completed it. Linda was thrilled because now Linda knew this was the Jack who had really gained Eric's respect because he would not give up! Johanna's son, Lucius, was Jack's mentor last year. As three moms praying, it was a blessing for our sons to be closely connected.

Johanna and Linda are lifting Tammy and her family in prayer. This loss is like a knife to the heart for us as we have a special place in our hearts for Jack as we prayed for him each week.
