Jack Joseph Swift was 85 years old when he went to be with Jesus on January 23, 2026. He resided in Rio Rancho, NM for the last 23 years, and was born on April 21, 1940, to parents, Benjamin and Lillian, in Chicago, Illinois.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, her four children, and four granddaughters; his daughter, Susan (Favorite Kid!), and her three Boys, Owen, Jaxson, and Thane.
Jack's humor preceded him, even just prior to death, it defined him.
He was a protector of all women, which began with his Mom, whom he adored; and most especially his "bride" Linda, whom he would often say, "Isn't she beautiful."
Jack was a believer in our constitutional rights and freedoms, and enjoyed taking the women in his life to the shooting range, to assure they were equipped in protecting themselves.
He loved our Country and had a deep respect for the Military and Law Enforcement; honored them all.
Jack's passion was Cars! He had a 50-year career in upper management in the automotive industry; and could tell you what was wrong with a vehicle just by driving behind it.
He was devastated when he could no longer drive, as he was so proud to chauffeur his bride around.
We will all miss his antics, devotion, and his sheer presence in our lives!
