Jack E. Taylor, 90, of
Decatur, IL passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
Jack was born on December 21, 1932 in
Decatur, IL, the son of Walden and Daisy (DeLong) Taylor. He married Grace E. Hunter on August 1, 1968. She preceded him in death on February 6, 2020. Jack worked as a welder for Leader Iron, Superior Welding and Standard Steel. He ended his career driving a truck for ADM renovation. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Eagles Club. He and his wife Grace enjoyed taking their camper to Florida twice a year and to Nashville.
Jack is survived by his children: Jacqueline (Jim) Schuster of
Mims, FL, Larry (Debbie) Taylor of
Decatur, IL and Danny (Nancy) Hunter of
Decatur, IL; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son: Garry Taylor and his sisters: Evelyn Brazel and Norma Jean Knisley.
