I will always remember Jack as a great artist and an even greater person. He really was a Charleston icon in the arts. I enjoyed talking to him and loved his sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. God bless all of his loved ones.

I met Jack 30 years ago at the Charleston City Market. I have handled his work since that day. He depicted the southern charm of Charleston in the detail of his colorful pictures. It has been an honor to show his work and to speak of the inspiration he has been to so many. I will miss his stories and the joy he brought to us through his work. His light will always shine, as I will speak of him every day.
