Jack W. Tuttle, age 84, of Bluffton, SC went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2025.
Jack was born into a large family on January 13, 1941, the son of Harry and Ruth Tuttle.
Jack was predeceased by parents Harry and Ruth Tuttle, brothers Charlie, Herbie, Bucky, and Bob, sisters Ellen, Ruth Anna, and Jeanne. He is survived by his brothers Jim, Harold, and sister Frances.
He is also survived by his children Kyle (Ann), and Kelley Ellison, his grandchildren Erik Ellison, Haley (Dale) Carrigan, Gregory Ellison, Adam Tuttle, and special friends Sandee Goodman, Larry and Phyllis Teeter, Etta and Nelson Dilley.
Jack grew up on the family farm in Burdett, NY with his parents and 11 brothers and sisters, he was an exceptional athlete and graduated from Odessa-Montour High School in 1959. He started working at Watkins Sporting Goods, then became a machinist at Eastman Kodak, where he worked for 25 years before retiring at the age of 50. He enjoyed his retirement in Bluffton, SC and his large church family at the Okatie Baptist Church.
At Jack's request, there will not be any traditional services. In lieu of flowers, we ask those wishing to make a donation, please consider the Okatie Baptist Church in Ridgeland, SC and the Friends of Caroline Hospice Home in Ridgeland, SC.
