Jack Wright Obituary
Jack Wright, 78, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of Donna F. (Blodgett) Wright, they shared over 50 years of marriage.
He was born on February 11, 1947 in Chelsea, he was the son of the late Oran Wright and the late Maryann (Darish) Wright. He grew up and was educated in Chelsea. After High School he enlisted with the United States Army, he was stationed in Germany for a few years, proudly serving his country as a sp5 expert field medic. Upon his return home, he met the love of his life at a dance. After marriage they relocated to Peabody for 20 years, and then Tewksbury for many many years.
He liked to talk, watching sports, he loved his grandchildren, spending time with them and his daughters was his greatest joy, he and his wife traveled yearly to Florida, and also enjoyed camping. He worked for Northeastern University as a facilities manager for over 30 years.
In addition to his wife, he leaves His two daughters Jenafer McLeod and her husband Brian of Lowell, and Janel Larson and her husband Matthew of Ellington, CT, His grandchildren Cameron and Kyle McLeod, His sister Dale Damian of Tewksbury and best friend late husband Martin Damian and their children Maryann and Martin.
In addition he leaves his mother in law Geraldine Blodgett of Methuen, His sister in law Debra Kulakuski and her husband Al of Rowley, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends
He was the Brother of the late Marlene Brown, he was the brother in law of the late George Brown.

Janel, it has been decades since we have connected and I very much wish we had stayed in touch. I am so truly sorry to hear about your dad. Dear Donna,
So sorry to learn of Jack's passing. My condolences to you and the family. I recall so vividly meeting Jack (I was 12 years old) when you started dating. He was loud, funny, and had a wonderful big smile which he carried with him throughout life.
