Jackie Faye Burris

Jackie Faye Burris was born in the Tahlequah hospital on March 20 1945 to Clinton Lipe and Claudie Faye Lovett, known to most as Faye and Ooly. She passed from this life on December 29th 2025, in Ft Gibson, OK. She had a sister Joeann Andrews and they had a baby sister that died shortly after birth. Jackie graduated from Fort Gibson High school in 1963.
She was married to Jim Burris in May 1963. To this marriage they had 2 children, James Clinton Burris and Marla Sue Baker, AKA Clint and Susie. Her favorite son in law was John L. Baker. Jackie enjoyed being outside with in nature with the flowers and animals. Through the years she worked as a florist, para for the special ed, in customer service in retail stores. Jackie most recently worked at TJ Maxx department store with what became some of her most loved and cherished friends. After being diagnosed with cancer a year ago, she was given loving care by the wonderful people at Good Shepherd Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Joeann, husband Jim Burris, and several brother and sister in-laws.
Jackie is survived by her daughter Susie, son Clint, grandchildren Chris Baker, Jessica Baker, Lucas Agregado, Brandon Baker and Jessica Liegh Baker; great-grandchildren Ryan Baker, Viktor Agregado, Molly Agregado, Liam Hughes, Ella and Elivia Rosson; nieces Patsy, Lorrie, Bobbie and Rosemary. and a lot of friends and family, that are too many to name them all, that will miss her greatly till we see her again. She loved you all!
