My prayers are with Mrs. Glenda and her family during this difficult time. I remember you guys when we bought your lake place at Wateree We all most backed out from purchasing it when you both started crying while sitting on the swing. Then when I started crying Mr. Capps started laughing then said. "We are Ok, I know you guys will make many memories here just like we have." We started making memories that day with two sweet and wonderful people. May God bless each and every one of you..

The Capps family has my love and always my prayers. It was such a pleasure to know Jackie Capps. He was such a sweet ,compassionate, and caring man. He loved God. My! What an example just by the way he lived his life for God. He was such a dedicated christian man. He loved his wife Glenda. You could just tell by "that look" they gave one another whenever they were together. He was such a servant of the Lord. He loved people and couldn't do enough for anyone. Jackie loved his family too. He loved to work in the kitchen at our church, First Baptist. Whenever there was a need, he was always willing to help. Jackie always wanted to help pastor Tom, whether it was visiting or serving in church wherever he was needed. Our "church family " is going to have a great void without Jackie. He fought the hard fight and never gave up because God was with him every step of the way. Jackie stood up in church many times and gave God all the glory for what he had done in his life. Jackie got his crowns he so richly deserved when he went through heavens doors. God told him, "Well done, my good and faithful servant. welcome home. I got good hugs from Jackie Capps and I am sure going to miss him. May God bless the family. You're in my prayers. Your friend, Terry Schronce

I am heartbroken to hear of Jackie's going home. I have many wonderful memories of Jackie back to when we were neighbors. He always had that smile and a hug every time I saw him. He has been released from pain and sickness and is with his Lord today. Oh, how happy he must be. We'll see him again. His was a life well lived. He touched so many people. If you ever met Jackie you would never forget him. Glenda my prayers are with you and the rest of the family.
