Jackie Edward Carter, a beacon of warmth and laughter, departed this world on November 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that will forever echo in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him. Born on August 14, 1955, Jackie lived a vibrant life filled with joy and camaraderie, his spirit illuminating every room he entered.
With a personality as loving and welcoming as a sun-drenched afternoon, Jackie had an unparalleled ability to forge connections. He was the kind of individual who could turn strangers into friends just as easily as he could whip up a hearty laugh with one of his famed jokes. As an accomplished gamer and athlete, Jackie embodied the playful spirit of competition, whether it was around a table playing backgammon, dominos, and spades, or cheering passionately for his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
Jackie’s life was a tapestry woven with rich experiences and warm memories. The simple act of sharing time over a game of Words with Friends or a competitive match of Jacks brought him immense happiness—creating bonds that surpassed mere pastime. His infectious humor and genuine love for life made him a cherished friend to many, often serving as the center of a gathering, where laughter flowed as freely as the stories shared.
As we reflect on his extraordinary journey, let us hold dear the countless moments spent in his presence—the laughter, the playful banter, the unwavering support. Memorial services will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, starting with a visitation on November 14, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service the next day, November 15, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Jackie Edward Carter's legacy is not merely in the memories held by his friends, but in the hearts that continue to beat a little brighter because of him. May his gentle spirit soar free, and may we honor him by celebrating each day with the laughter and love he so graciously shared.
