A Life Rooted in Faith, Devotion, and Family Love

Mrs. M. Jackie Fields, age 76, of Austell, Georgia, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on September 11, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born on February 15, 1949, in Atlanta, Georgia, Jackie was the beloved daughter of the late David Leon Couch and Mary Sue Brown.

Jackie was a woman of unwavering devotion-to her Lord, to her husband, and to her family. Her faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her life. She lived each day with purpose, humility, and a servant's heart, creating a home that was a refuge of love, warmth, and peace.

She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband and soulmate, Warren Fields, whom she lovingly called "Papaw." Their love was true-a bond that inspired everyone blessed to witness it. Together, they built not just a home, but a haven where everyone felt welcomed, fed, and deeply loved. Jackie's kitchen was her ministry-every meal was made with joy; every guest treated like family.

Jackie's greatest joy came from her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She poured her heart into every generation of her family, nurturing them with love, laughter, prayer, and presence. She was the kind of woman who showed up-whether to celebrate or to comfort-and left behind warmth wherever she went.

She was preceded in death by her parents, but her love lives on in the hearts of her cherished husband Warren, her children David Hester, Michelle (Teddy) Williams, Sean Johnson, and Melissa (Greg) Martin; her treasured grandchildren Cory Hester, Anna Lemmon, Katie Woolery, Buddy Williams, Christy McMillan, Noah Blanton, Wyatte Johnson, Braxton Martin, Brayden Martin, and Breannah Martin; and her precious great-grandchildren Courtney, Chandler, Paislee, Oaklee, Gavin, Trevin, Wrenly and Waylon.

She is also remembered with love by a host of extended family and dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and strength.

Jackie's legacy is one of deep faith, unshakable love, and quiet generosity. She taught us how to love unconditionally, how to serve without expecting anything in return, and how to trust God in all things. Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace in knowing she is now rejoicing in Heaven, whole and free, surrounded by the light she carried so faithfully here on Earth.
