Jackie Elizabeth Goff
1970 - 2025
Jackie Elizabeth Goff, of Grand Prairie, Texas, entered eternal rest on November 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her devoted family. Born on January 24, 1970, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Jackie was the cherished daughter of Russell Joseph Goff, Sr. and Ella Allen Goff O'Neal.
Jackie's life was a beautiful testament to perseverance, faith, and love. She graduated from West St. John High School class of 1988 and continued her education at Southern University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and later a Master's degree in Public Administration. Her passion for helping others guided her career as an administrator and coordinator in various roles, with her final position as Coordinator of Education and Housing at Southern University, a role she embraced wholeheartedly until her illness.
Jackie was deeply rooted in faith-a devoted student of the Bible whose spirit radiated hope and strength. To know Jackie was to know a fighter. She faced every challenge with courage and optimism, never allowing adversity to dim her light. Her unwavering determination and compassionate heart touched countless lives.
As we say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing Jackie's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and grace will continue to inspire us all.
