Jackie Milton Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jackie Martin Milton, a cherished brother, friend, and local entrepreneur, who left us peacefully on October 16, 2025, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in River Ridge, LA.
Jackie's kindness and strong work ethic touched everyone who knew him. He was a man dedicated to his faith, his craft and to his community, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral services officiated by Deacon Bryan Istre will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM with a rosary being prayed at 10:00 AM.
He is survived by his siblings, Beth Scott, Kenneth Richards, Dale Richards (Karen), Gwendolyn Pete (Lonnie), and Nita Jones (Steve); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Rougeau and the former Marguerite Milton, one brother, Francis Rougeau; one sister, Delphine Rougeau West; and brother-in-law, Johnny Scott.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice and East Jefferson General Hospital for their compassionate care and support during Jackie's final days along with his extended family and friends in Kaplan.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan (337) 643-7276.
