Jackie "Ted" Mitchell

Jackie "Ted" Mitchell, 84 years old, of Youngsville, went to his heavenly home on November 27, 2025, after suffering from a series of illnesses. Ted was born on August 27, 1941, to the late Clem Calvin Mitchell and Eileen Gracie Driver Mitchell.

Ted was raised in the Rolesville and Zebulon areas, where he remained until his passing, tending to the land as a hard-working farmer. He was a member of Beulah Christian Baptist Church in Zebulon.

Ted was predeceased by his wife Victoria "Vickie" Mitchell; his grandson, Nathan Mitchell; his stepson, Joey Alford; and his brother Clem C. Mitchell, Jr. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Teddy Mitchell and his wife Cindy and Jeff Mitchell and his wife Angie; his grandchildren, Jason and his wife Lilli, Justin, and Stephanie, Nathan's wife; his five great grandchildren, Ada, Izze, David, Myah, and Jesse; his special friends, Judy and Alicia and his nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday December 1, 2025, from 1:30pm to 2pm at Bright Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2pm in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the entombment to follow in the Mitchell Family Cemetery, Youngsville.
